About the team:

We have a leading advisory franchise across the Power, Utilities and Infrastructure sector, in particular across the Renewables arena where we have won several awards and are well recognised as being leaders in areas such as Off-Shore Wind, Hydrogen production, Energy Infrastructure - Transmission / distribution, Waste Water, EV charging and new technologies across the sector.

We are looking to add a VP to the team to assist with strong deal-flow to maintain are market position and enable future growth.

Summary of Key Purposes of the Role:

• Lead the execution of M&A deals from start to finish

• Assist in ECM execution and work with financing teams to contribute to various projects

• Assist in the origination of new deals to the team

• Mentor and guide Interns, Analysts and Associates within the team

Responsibilities:

• Bring industry knowledge and insight to assist in idea generation and origination of new deals

• Work with colleagues to create pitch materials and deliver presentations to clients, investors and broader community

• Conduct industry research keeping up to date across topics in the sector

• Supervision and guidance to more junior team members, taking responsibility for their work and developing their skills

• Develop and maintain dialogue with key industry counterparts and clients

Profile required

PROFILE REQUIRED

• Strong analytical and Financial Modelling Skills

• Excellent knowledge of Corporate Finance concepts along with relevant compliance and regulations

• Detailed knowledge of the sector with understanding of key players, drivers and market trends

• Track record of involvement in successful pitches and leading execution of deals

• Client focused with strong work ethic and ability to prioritise effectively

• Strong team player, willing to help others, and take responsibility for own actions Why join us
