Powerplant has the main role to integrate the Aircraft Powerplant technologies needed to design, analyse, certify, qualify, and maintain in service the aircraft developed by Airbus DS.

The main activities include the integration of Propulsion Systems (Engine and associated systems) and Secondary Power Systems including Auxiliary Power Units (APU) with all aircraft interfaces as well as the activities related to the engine performance and emissions.

You can join us in the PowerPlant Centre of Competence as a Propulsion System Development Engineer.

You bring the following skills & qualifications?

• Aerospace engineer (at least 4 years university degree) or equivalent
• Detailed knowledge of aviation engine technologies, engine performance, thermodynamic cycles, thermodynamics, aerodynamics, as well as engine operational behavior and control
• Profound knowledge of and experience in equipment and system engineering
• Integrity and confidence to speak up, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable with working in empowered teams with a strong focus on delivery
• Confidence to contribute your creativity and skills to teams of dedicated specialists
• Sense of responsibility to create reliable and airworthy air power solutions
• English language: negotiation level, German language: advanced level would be a plus
