We are actively hiring for a senior HR professional to act as our UK Ireland Country Leader and HRBP for Sales Director - Europe & Africa on a 2 year contract.

This is a hybrid role we'd ideally prefer based in Cheltenham, though we would consider someone to work full time from home in the UK.

Job Description

This is a great role divided into two halves - UK&I Country HR Focal & HRBP for Sales Director responsible for Europe & Africa & UK&I Corporate Functions.

UK&I Country HR Focal
This role will also serve as the GE Aerospace Country HR leader for UK & Ireland ensuring consistency, compliance and governance in alignment with local country regulations and market conditions.

Advise on talent practices such as pipeline development, local country policy , cross-functional talent sharing & moves, country TA strategy, and country employer brand. Partner with and advise HR CoEs to enable Aerospace framework and local law into country policy. Support country escalations and process/policy deployments (including government relations, crisis management, Employee Relations, Global mobility/immigration, and total rewards) Ensure HR governance, compliance and consistency, relative to country specific issues and policy deployment, including activities related to legal entities within country and businesses Enable HR alignment across the UK&I Country HR team, connecting across divisions and P&Ls

HRBP for Sales Director responsible for Europe & Africa & UK&I Corporate Functions

Partner with the business and global functional leaders and HRBPs to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable business objectives; including: workforce planning and execution, drive hiring plan execution, HR KPI excellence, and site culture Develop and embed a contemporary organizational culture and leverage change acceleration techniques to assist in driving broad change In partnership with SED leader, provide HR strategy that aligned with CES - Sales & Commercial objectives

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Significant experience in a variety of Human Resource positions, both client and specialist based. Experience working with legal entities Some travel expected to connect with team

Desired Characteristics:

Master's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or Business Administration from an accredited college or university preferred Strategic mindset with strong business acumen resulting in the ability to connect dots and develop / drive HR agenda with proactive thought leadership. Global HR experience preferred, understanding and working with UK labor laws and government requirements Demonstrated results driving global talent management processes and organization design and development Excellent collaboration, influencing, project management, organizational and change agent skills Strength in executive leader coaching and business partnership to drive change
