Your role and responsibilities

As a sales representative, you will be part or our Electrification, Smart Buildings division and will be responsible for developing our contractor clientele. Working closely with one of our sales agents, you will primarily be on the road to meet our clients, covering a territory from Trois-Rivières to Gaspé and Sept-Iles, including Quebec City and Saguenay. The vehicle is provided by ABB. This role is contributing to the Electrification, Smart Buildings division of ABB Canada for our office located in Dorval. Responsibilities: • Educate and support agents, distributors, contractors, and engineering firms working with the ABB products on our product portfolio. • Support and shoulder our sales network on market trends, answer their technical questions, and solve the issues of our business partners. • Develop our various business units such as Standard Emergency Lighting, Nexus Pro, Mini-inverters, and central system. • Work in collaboration with our various departments (Marketing, Order Desk, Central Systems, and Technical Support). • Support our agents and distributors during events such as Table Top, factory visits, congresses, and promotional events. • Be able to travel throughout eastern Canada for the purposes of the tasks mentioned above.

Qualifications for the role

  • 5-7 years of experience in a sales position.
  • Good knowledge of the lighting products market and of the market of our agents and distributors.
  • Knowledge of the standards and applications regarding emergency lighting.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relations.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Diploma in electromechanics (an asset).
