Position Summary

This role is responsible to support country sales teams win more business on EAE and support customers through their entire project development cycle using EAE:

  1. Demonstrate how EAE features, and functionality can help customers with their applications and on projects
  2. Animate workshops to promote EAE features and functions, and ensure customers understand how to design, organize, and execute code on EAE
  3. Implement and test performance of customers' architectures to demonstrate performance and reduce risks. This includes going to site to support customers and our sales teams as needed
  4. Develop key libraries elements (CATs) to support customer projects and ensure their satisfactions (ease of use of EAE)
  5. Support customer project execution and guide customers through the implementation phase
  6. Ensure a consistent feedback loop with global EAE development team as the voice of the customer and the country
  7. Support, develop and train System Integrators in the region to be execution partners on EAE


The Ideal candidate

Self-motivated and driven with a "must win" mindset and a desire to be successful. Being able to work independently but also as part of a team in a matrix organization is essential to this role. Be able to influence and motivate individuals that do not report to you, to achieve shared KPI's through a collaborative and synergistic approach. Must be an early adopter and bring a sense of technical intensity to drive sales growth in this role. While this is a technical role, the candidate must have commercial acumen and understand the significant role that technical teams play in the sales cycle to convince and win new business and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work with the commercial teams on the achievement of EAE goals (orders, volume, profile of the projects and customers)
  2. Managing Customer satisfaction through all phases of the project
  3. Report KPI's to the global team (data, dashboard, risks, enhancements, bugs)


Role in details
  1. Demo's on EAE
    1. Build a maintain demo area in your country/region (HW and SW)
    2. Personalize UVP/storytelling to customer use-case i.e., create technical demos to answer customer's pain points and address their sub-segment requirements
    3. Handle Q&A and provide examples and references relative to applications
  2. Workshops
    1. Host application specific training (core EAE training itself is conducted through DF by specific trainers)
    2. Apply design guidelines to ensure projects are executed correctly
    3. Define code structure, objects, and CATs
    4. Assess challenges, traps and gaps and work with the Incubator team to address
  3. System Architectures
    1. Draw, implement and test EAE architecture relative to customers' applications
    2. Present outcomes to customers in order to get their adoption by reducing risks
  4. Develop specific CATs to take complexity away from customer
    1. Develop HW CATs in country/region
    2. Management library development, following global guidelines
    3. Verify the solutions performance
    4. Validate the library as per customer user case/application
  5. Project Execution and Support
    1. Support the customer and or System Integrator on the successful execution of any EAE project
    2. Ensure customer satisfaction on projects - this includes commercial relationship on top of technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of the project
  6. Feedback and documentation
  1. Document all processes and changes made on site and during customer engagement
  2. Create Use cases and success stories from every project
  3. Share knowledge and best practices


Education, Experience and Skills

  1. Degree in either of the following: Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science IT programing, Code development


  1. Embedded Software Engineer background, ideally with strong IT focus
    1. Be well versed on IIOT and the convergence between IT and OT


    1. Object oriented Programming, Windows and Linux development environment, Docker/Kubernetes/Swarm, Virtualization, Event driven methodology, C# programming for HMI integration, Cybersecurity (SDL2, IEC62443)


    1. Networking experience in LAN, WAN, VLAN, Managed Switch, Routers, Communication protocols TCP/IP based Modbus, EthernetIP, Profinet, HTTPS, MQTT


    1. Experience in the following programming language: C/C++, Python, JavaScript


  1. OT knowledge is important but can be learnt at Schneider (cross pollination)


  1. Essential to this role, the candidate must be able to apply code development and design system/solution architecture that will fit onto industrial applications on the factory floor and plant to control equipment and processes.


  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation solution development and programming

The U.S. compensation range for this full-time position is $156,000.00-$234,000.00 plus commission for candidates located within the U.S. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
