Responsibilities

Our Finance Department is growing and we have a challenging and rewarding role for a Finance Professional with Leadership skills and experience in Offshore Outsourcing.

This person will be responsible for managing the onshore arm of an on/offshore team that provides Finance services including Cashiering and Bank Reconciliation tasks.
They will oversee the quality, efficiency, and delivery of the offshore team's work, working with the offshore team leader.

Whilst contributing to the strategic development and growth of the finance department and the offshore capability.

Some of the responsibilities will include;

• Align the offshore team with the onshore team and working practices. Assist with assigning work, providing and conduct feedback, training and resolving issues.
• Ensure the onshore team's work meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance with the relevant standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with the offshore team, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment of expectations and deadlines.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the clients, understanding their needs and objectives, and providing excellent service and advice.
• Work on the strategy of what new services can be passed to the offshore team and manage that transition.
• Work on the continuous improvement of the function and ensure the onshore teams are also developed to maximise the spotting of opportunities to offshore.

What will help you succeed in this role?

The ideal candidate would have the below skills and experience;

• A finance professional with at least five years of experience in the finance sector, preferably in a leading consultancy or advisory firm.
• A proven track record of leading and managing teams, preferably in an on/offshore outsourcing model.
• Excellent finance knowledge and skills, with a focus on financial cashiering, bank reconciliation and reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across different locations and cultures.
• Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities and solutions.
