Contract & Performance Specialist

Here's what you'll be doing

We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract and Performance Specialist to join our Industrial & Commercial (I&C) team. For this role, you will be responsible for reporting on the I&C IT contract renewal position, to ensure contracts and licences are assessed and negotiated in a timely manner. You will have a pro-active working manner, with the ability to think strategically and understand business challenges. This role is based in Solihull with hybrid working.

Key responsibilities
  • Maintain/publish the central repository for all reporting on Partner & Supplier performance against service metrics working with them & Service Operations area to ensure consistency in reporting.
  • Responsible for executing the service review regime set for individual Partners & Suppliers.
  • Responsible for driving performance and service improvement plans specific to the relevant Partners & Suppliers.
  • Ensure supplier commercials are processed on a monthly basis and forecast accurately for budget planning.
  • Responsible for commercial analysis of IT contracts in readiness for renewal or extension.
  • Ensure all services are clearly defined and implemented within a strategy that aligns with E.ON I&C business objectives & outcomes and the service delivery framework.
  • Ensuring the management of the service credit regime and penalties, including termination rights and the deployment of contingent measures to protect E.ON I&C.


What we need from you

  • Extensive experience in managing a Function involving comprehensive managed services.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of managing Global 3rd Party Suppliers, driving high performance delivery.
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully managing SLA / KPI performance.
  • Commercial, Contract and Supplier Performance Management experience.
  • Experience of managing supplier performance based on data driven approaches.
  • Awareness of IT contracts and commercial models.

It would be great if you had
  • Knowledge of Outsourcing / Global Delivery methodologies.
  • A background in supplier relationship management, commercial management, or procurement.
  • Industry knowledge and experience or understanding of the structure and organisation of utilities and their core activities.
