Job Summary:

As a Solar Lead Specialist, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads for our solar energy solutions. Your primary objective is to identify prospective customers, engage them in meaningful conversations, and assess their solar energy needs and potential interest in our products and services. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a knack for lead generation, and a passion for promoting renewable energy.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Identification: Use various channels, including online research and social media, to identify potential solar customers.
  2. Outreach: Initiate contact with leads through phone calls, emails, or other communication methods, introducing them to our solar solutions.
  3. Qualification: Engage leads in conversations to assess their energy needs, sustainability goals, and interest in solar energy solutions.
  4. Education: Provide information on the benefits of solar energy, our company's offerings, and how they align with the lead's specific requirements.
  5. Lead Nurturing: Maintain ongoing communication with leads, building rapport and trust while keeping them informed about solar-related updates and incentives.
  6. Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified leads for consultations or appointments with solar sales representatives.
  7. CRM Management: Enter lead information, communication history, and status updates into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  8. Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed lead generation and qualification targets, and report progress to the sales or marketing manager.
  9. Market Research: Stay informed about solar industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to improve lead generation strategies.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in lead generation, telemarketing, or a related role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer engagement abilities.
  • Familiarity with solar energy concepts and benefits.
  • Persistence, resilience, and the ability to handle rejection positively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and lead generation tools.
  • Google Workspace knowledge preferred

Salary: $18-20/hr
