Job Description Summary

We are looking for Lead Engineer to strengthen our Thermal and Fluid Systems Design Team focused on aircraft engine secondary flows and cooling systems, engine lubrication systems and sumps design. In this role you will support design, analysis, testing and validation of engine systems, sub-systems, and components in terms of fluid flow, oil flow and heat transfer requirements using state-of-the-art engineering best practices. You will be involved in an NPI and support of manufacturing and life cycle of aircraft engines.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned individual and team projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
  • Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements.
  • Lead solution of design challenges using in depth understanding of relevant physics.
  • Support definition of appropriate test to meet technical objectives and create test plans.
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
  • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.


Qualifications/Requirements
  • MSc/BSc in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • Significant experience relevant to heat transfer and fluid mechanics area of expertise.
  • Sound understanding of jet engine design.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
