What are you going to do

Our client is seeking an experienced E&I Supervisor to help oversee activities for upstream O&G projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in line with quality processes and procedures.

Responsibilities - To include but are not limited too:

  • Supervise blue-collar project teams during construction activities and ensure the safe execution of daily construction activities.
  • Maintain the schedule of construction activities.
  • Deliver projects in accordance with quality processes and procedures.
  • Direct sub-contractors to achieve project deliverables.
  • Interface with operations and management to resolve issues.
  • Provide advice on best practice execution methodologies.
  • Monitor workforce performance and ensure tasks are performed safely.
  • Review and assess work-packs from engineering for constructability.
  • Abide by approved land access requirements.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with third-party services/groups.
  • Provide technical advice and troubleshooting for the field construction team.
  • Manage and monitor daily field construction activities.
  • Ensure activities align with company policies and procedures.
  • Complete benchmarking/KPI data as required.
  • Provide daily reports of construction activities to management.


Essential skills and knowledge

  • Previous experience in oil and gas projects.
  • Extensive supervisory role experience.
  • Trade qualified.
  • Current Electrical Licence.
  • Certificate in “Installation and Maintenance of (EEHA) Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas” from an approved training institute.
  • Experience providing technical advice and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with safety management systems and application of HSSE principles on construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing the construction activities of contractors.
  • Extensive experience in Electrical, Instrument, and Hazardous Area (HA) technical and troubleshooting construction advice.
