We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our team in the nuclear industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing complex nuclear projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is critical in driving the successful delivery of key initiatives within our nuclear facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead project teams, providing direction and support to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress, performance, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Engage and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Identify potential project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement risk management processes to minimize project impact and ensure project continuity.
- Ensure all project activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance protocols.
- Conduct regular quality reviews and audits to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Allocate resources effectively and monitor resource utilization to optimize project performance.
- Implement change management processes to address project changes and scope adjustments.
- Communicate and document changes, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and logs.
- Generate comprehensive project reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure team members achieve their professional goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the project team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in the nuclear industry or a similarly regulated environment.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Additional Requirements:
