Our mission is to master and support grow of large, complex and international projects business for global accounts and targeted customers through the Global and Regional Application Centers, supporting in parallel project ambitions for Local Execution Centers in Europe in tendering and projects executions.
What will you do?
You will supervise the complete scope of the Logistics function to ensure the best logistic deliverables from the team towards internal customers, Global Application Centers (GACs), Regional Application Centers (RACs) and Front Offices in the countries (HUBs) and their projects.
Drive the team's size & capacity, performance, competencies and individual development plans in line with group strategy and expectations.
Key activities and responsibilities:
* Lead the local logistics team with agility to deliver the best logistics service for complex international projects, from procurement up to final delivery and project completion, in accordance to project's budgets, deadlines and objectives
* Support Tender manager to propose efficient, optimized and competitive logistics solutions for their projects benefiting from logistics expertise and execution experience
* Ensure the team provides right level of support in term of competencies and capacities in execution of projects during entire project's life cycle (from procurement up to final delivery)
* Strong collaboration with internal customer, GACs, RACs, HUBs to manage workload for logistics team
* Through workload management tool (Alm@) ensure the right sizing of the team and competencies to undertake the required scopes from GACs, RACs and HUBs
* Promote team's capabilities to internal customers (GACs,HUBs, RACs), actively engage with them to propose team's involvement in their project during tender and execution
* Drive competency and individual development plans for the team to ensure expected logistics deliverables from the team to projects & in line with group strategy
* Set performance goals and runs annual performance appraisals for the team
* Support, optimize and develop necessary logistics tools and processes (Supply Chain Process, SAP, internal processes...) to ensure required deliverable for all stakeholders
* Perform and be involved as Project Logistic Leader on critical projects (functionally manage a logistics team)
* Be actively involved or lead transversal actions plans or initiatives and ensure their application
What qualifications will make you successful?
Education and language
* University education, preferably with specialization in logistics or international transport
* Excellent communication skills in English and Slovak language are mandatory
Experience
* Minimum 8 years of experience in logistic & transport domain, min 5 years in EPC Solution Environment (engineering, procurement and construction)
* Management experience on similar position
* Leadership habits focusing on building strong team to delivery and achieve expected results
* Strong processes-oriented person with sense for digitization
* Experience in international, multicultural environment (fast-moving operations environment)
Skills
* Proactive and solution-oriented personality, ability to work autonomously
* Advanced level of PC skills - SAP, MS Office
* Part of this job may include occasional business trips
