This position reports to

R&D Global Unit Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop products, systems, services, or technologies for ABB's business units. Each day, you will manage Emergency Linghting Research and Development (R&D) project portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by facilitating the end-to-end execution of one or more complex, global/strategic R&D projects or programs to achieve associated milestones, targets, and desired outcomes. - Manages the allocated Emergency Linghting R&D project teams and defines with key stakeholders the scope of work, cost / budget, resources required , time schedule and detailed work allocation. - Motivates and leads internal and/or external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. - Monitors and controls project cost and financials and reports deviations. - Ensures project results are transferred to relevant line organization or department responsible - Uses own technical domain knowledge to provide technical support to colleagues or other functional teams - Serves as key contact for project stakeholders and effectively communicates appropriate information to in timely manner to achieve desired understanding and support - Ensures project follows sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with standard ABB internal directives and procedures - Ensures projects follow external standards etc. that influence activities and targets - Identifies, contains and reduces risk and makes sure that they are properly prioritized, managed and communicated

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or project management engineering
• 8 years+ work experience of project management.
• Project management experience proved by certificate of worldwide company or PMI is preferred.
• Proactive, team-oriented, highly responsible and able to work under pressure and excellent at communication and coordination
• Chinese as mother tongue, very good English (fluently)
