Your role and responsibilities
You will lead the formulation of sales strategies, set and manage KPIs, and build relationships with customers as the sales manager for ABB's online analyzers which are used to improve product quality, enhance operational efficiency, and implement environmental and safety measures at various industrial plants. Your target customers will include end users, distribu-tors, EPCs, and system integrators who build systems combining ABB analyzers. The main industry for sales is petrochemicals, but growth areas include semiconductors and decarbon-ization initiatives. The sales base is in Tokyo, but regular business trips to various areas will occur depending on the customer needs. Additionally, there may be 1-2 overseas business trips per year. ABB's business in Japan is continuously growing. We are looking for someone who is not afraid of change and can lead further business growth together with the team.

Qualifications for the role
- 【Educational Background】Bachelor's degree or higher
- 【Language】Japanese: Native, English: TOEIC 800 or equivalent
- 【Experience and Skills】
- ・Experience as a Sales Manager at an industrial equipment manufacturer in the process automation field.
- ・Experience developing and implementing sales strategies and action goals using data from Sales Force and similar sales support tools.
- ・Experience as a sales manager at a foreign industrial equipment manufacturer (pre-ferred).
- ・Ability to conduct sales operations in compliance with ABB's integrity and HSE policies.
- ・Experience in sales of analytical instruments used in the field of process automation (preferred).
- ・A degree in science or engineering (preferred).
