We are seeking a Regional General Manager for Japan, one of the six regions in HPS Asia PacificPole. The successful candidate will lead theorganization for sustainedprofitable growth in the Japan business.
Responsibilities include
Customer:
-Ensuring Customer satisfaction of Honeywell Process Solutions Customers
-Building strong customer-focused, Sales, Operational and Strategic capabilities
-Providing local market data to Global Marketing & Technology/ Operations functions
-Deploying an appropriate Sales structure for export and domestic market.
-Assuming Executive Sponsorship of select key accounts Business:
-Management of the Regional P&L and Contribution to Profit AOP; balancing business margins and operating costs/productivity vs. growth opportunities.
-Orders and Revenue Growth
-Maintaining close working relationship with all Honeywell PMT operating SBU units
-Contribution as a full member of the Pole Leadership team to set appropriate strategy/policy and to implement standard systems and processes
-Developing Regional Business Plan(RBP) over STRAP
-Ensuring deployment of Sales Verticalization and alignment across all the LOBs and Functions
People:
-Build and Assembling a high performance and growth result oriented regional team and driving ongoing improvement in the Sales and Operational Skills & Effectiveness of the field organization
-Operating outside business or geographical "silos" and working with peers to support Global or National accounts
-Ensuring effective performance management processes and future management capabilities
Compliance:
-Comply and ensure entire organization complies with Honeywell Inc. Business Code of Conduct policies
-Evaluate risk associated with business opportunities and contractual obligations
Position Scope
-Direct Management of Sales and Commercial Excellence of Project & Automation Solutions(PAS)/Life-Cycle Support & Solutions(LSS)/ Honeywell Connected Industrial(HCI) Line of Businesses(LOB).
-Responsible for $60$80 Million Revenue,

-Ability to drive and execute major change initiatives
-Ability to develop and maintain effectives relationships (external / internal)
-Conversant in Oral and written communication skills in English
-Ability to build, lead and develop effective teams
-Strategic planning capabilities, understand how to assess market opportunities, business investment, risk and execution -requirements
-Highly motivated and self-directed
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
-In-depth knowledge of the automation business, processes, practices and key markets and customer
Qualifications & Requirements
-Bachelor of Science Degree in business and/or technology, MBA/ Advanced Business Degree preferred
-Strong leadership/ people development skills in managing teams towards achieving business objectives
-Strong Business and Financial analysis capability (understanding income statements, balance sheets,WC/FCF management)
-Extensive experience of customer and sales or marketing, and experience in doing business in Japan
-At least 8 years of leadership experience, General management experience responsible for P&L results preferred
-Thorough knowledge of consultative and value-based selling
-Operational (Project/ Services) experience an added advantage
