PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform 12 block segmentation analysis to categorize and assess inventory.
- Generate and review cancellation reports to identify and address inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain the NIMD - Transactional Health Scorecard to monitor and report on inventory health.
- Oversee NIMD - Inventory Relocation to optimize inventory distribution and availability.
- Develop and track key inventory metrics to ensure efficient inventory management and lower inventory levels.
- Conduct Work In Progress (WIP) aging reviews to identify and mitigate potential delays and obsolescence.
- Provide monthly analysis of inventory health, highlighting key issues and trends.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly summaries focused on inventory impacts and actions related to raw materials (RM), finished goods (FG), work in progress (WIP), gross inventory, and net inventory.
- Facilitate 10 to 12 reduction exercises annually to minimize WC inventory levels.
- Support Demand-Driven Operating Model (DDOM) initiatives to align inventory with business needs and reduce excess.
- Review redeployment opportunities with various locations and push them to move items, ensuring optimal utilization of inventory across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement inventory strategies and improvements.
- Assist in other activities aimed at drawing down the WC inventory, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Travel as and when required.
- Ensure all company policies surrounding purchasing, health & safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met.
- Fully accountable for achieving all relevant KPIs.
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time commensurate with the grade of the job.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred in lieu of degree.
- Experience in coordinating and managing projects related to inventory management and data cleanup.
- Experience in managing inventory relocation and optimizing inventory distribution.
- Experience in conducting WIP aging reviews and inventory health assessments.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP Systems.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and particularly Excel and Power Point.
- Familiarity with some data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Incorta, Cognos in an administrative capacity.
- Proficiency in segmentation analysis and generating detailed reports.
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting detailed monthly and quarterly inventory reports.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
- Must be flexible to travel 10-20% of the time.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities. Self-motivated.
- Must be able to work under pressure to achieve deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to facilitate inventory reduction exercises and support DDOM initiatives.
- Must be willing to provide colleagues with the information they need to complete their tasks and eliminate roadblocks (Informing Others).
- Must be capable of managing multiple priorities and projects at the same time.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and various locations.
- Must be both confident and professional when representing the company in person and in writing.
- Ability to meet or exceed standards as established by the department.
- Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.
