An excellent opportunity has arisen for Technical Design & Support Specialist to join our busy team at Uponor UK. This is an office-based role providing the contact for all after sales technical customer enquiries to Uponor via various channels i.e. telephone, emails etc.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide technical support via various channels i.e. telephone, email etc to installers, specifiers, and end users on Uponor systems, installation, selection, and repair.
  • Assist installers through the telephone or emails with system performance, installation issues, product failures, and/or commissioning advice for Uponor Under Floor Heating Cooling (UFCH) systems.
  • Provide office-based training for Uponor UFHC systems and complete project handover (as appropriate).
  • Support the training manager in the provision of specific training courses.
  • Monitor incoming installation and product issues, providing feedback on recurring areas needing attention to the Applications and Design teams to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Utilise Salesforce and other business systems for project record-keeping, diary management, customer details, etc.
  • Producing estimates in Salesforce based on the customers requirements.

What will you need?

  • Qualification: NVQ or higher in a Plumbing/Mechanical Engineering subject desirable.
  • Experience in customer care, customer service with the HVAC industry
  • Ideally familiar with modern construction, preferably building services related.
  • Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
  • ESSENTIAL: Technical understanding of Plumbing and Heating installation.
  • Collaborative Team Player.
  • Energetic self-starter who can work unsupervised within a team environment and take responsibility for a wide range of tasks.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks to strict deadlines.
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.

Salary: £Competitive + Bonus

Benefits: 25 days holiday, upto 5% matching pension

Full-time - 40 Hours per week (We operate a 50/50 hybrid working policy)
