As a Area Supervisor in North of Sweden, you are responsible for supervising the performance for your area. Coordinating both operational and management aspects cross-functionally to improve both customer and employee experience is expected. Preparing for the future, ensuring performance and a professional mindset in the team today is required for achieving your goals in this role. You will be responsible for carrying out the company strategy in the North Area.

Responsibilities

You will guide your organization and changes in the area to improve safety, financial results and employee and customer satisfaction. An ideal candidate for this position will be able to combine attention to detail with effective decision making and solid managerial skills.

Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:

• Execution of the strategy by setting operational goals for the operational units under your management, assuring quality of reporting and constantly looking for ways to optimize on safety, quality and cost
• Supervising and building a motivated and effective team of Field Supervisors in close collaboration with the Area Manager and the Area Supervisor in South Sweden
• Analysis of operational and financial data, making necessary changes and improvements
• Seeking ways to improve collaboration and communication cross-functionally

Qualifications

• Several years of proven people management experience, and experience of change management and performance management
• Educational background within business or technical field
• Fluency in English and Swedish
• Proven experience with having had own economical responsibility
• Comfortable with direction and expectation setting within Vestas quality, safety and cost goal as well as maintaining standards

Competencies

• You have previous management experience and organizational skills by directing multi-layered teams within an operational environment
• You can demonstrate solid business understanding and stakeholder management and know what it means to be "customer centric"
• Professional networker and team-focused approach. Able to connect and collaborate and having clear communication at all levels
• You keep safety in highest regard

Additional information

The location of this position could be at any of our warehouse's locations in North of Sweden from Gävleborgs Län to Norbottens Län.

Travelling about 30% per year is to be expected. During the first period you will be introduced by your colleague in North Sweden and the Area Manager.
