JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Crewperson you will be working with the OCTG/NDT inspection team. You will participate in the relevant preparatory work of equipment for inspection and other duties requested by the inspection supervisor. A conscientious and professional manner and in accordance with customer, industry, and company standards and procedures.

You will work in collaboration with the inspection supervisor/manager encouraging positive open discussions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting inspection team with equipment preparation
• Operation of various electrical and hydraulic equipment used in the inspection preparation process including but not limited to OD/ID wire brush unit, buffing, grinding etc
• Carry out accurate material marking; stencilling, numbering, colour coding
• Monitor equipment condition and performance, and reporting damage or misuse
• Ensure the working area is kept in a safe, clean, and orderly state
• Willingly assist Supervisor to eradicate identified potential areas of non-conformance
• Respond to identified process improvements and implement them willingly
• Report equipment problems as soon as they are identified. Communicate them to the Supervisor and implement changes when requested
• Action all tasks assigned to maintain high levels of target achievement as designated by Supervisor
• Take part and contribute in toolbox talks
• Demonstrate awareness of and promote company objectives, policies and procedures
• Ensure all company policies surrounding, health & safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met
• Adheres to inspection criteria, policies and procedures without exception
• Travel as and when required
• Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Working knowledge of equipment used in an inspection environment
• Ability to understand, evaluate and apply technical information and functional skills
• Strong time management skills to ensure all assigned tasks and responsibilities are completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Willingness to provide colleagues with the information they need to complete their tasks and eliminate roadblocks
• Strong sense of customer focus (internal/external)
• Team player who collaborates with peers to solve problems
• Languages: Azerbaijani (native)
