Anchor point of Vestas LATAM for Continuous Improvement Management (CIM) and Serious Incident (SI) activities, the LATAM Product Integrity Department is mainly responsible for review, understand, and communicating topics related to quality, reliability and performance that affects regional service, construction and sales to reduce product risk and costs related to quality. Our department also coordinates the technical operating risk in the region and coordinates efforts between other departments (e.g. Regional Engineering, Construction, Sales, etc) to mitigate that risk while also communicating it into regional leadership and strategizing how to position Vestas externally for customers, independent engineers, insurance companies, banks, etc. Our goal is to ensure that Vestas' Products meet or exceed the expectations of our customers in the regions in terms of Quality, Performance, and Reliability Standards.

Responsibilities:

• One voice to the Customers, independent engineers, and authorities from LATAM Technology department
• Technical responsibility for regional issues, act as regional anchor for product topics linked to the design during manufacturing, construction and operation phase.
• Understand of LATAM's priorities including the respective financial/customer impacts for each technical issue to contribute to the reduction of lost production factor.
• Define strategy of external communication regionally,
• Align communication to our customers based on available official documentation.
• Alignment with affected stakeholders (System owners, Sales/TBM, Service/Installation, Legal, Finance etc)
• Review of external communication documentation
• Communicate quality improvement priorities and updates to senior leaders based on impacts to Vestas and Vestas' customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably within Mechanical, Electrical or renewables engineering, or related disciplines;
• General understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts in connection with wind turbine generators;
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Spanish is desirable;
