Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a new colleague for the position of Tender/Quotation Specialist for the ABB MV Switchgear Division in Brno. The main task of this position is the processing of a technical and commercial offer according to the customer's requirements. Product portfolio: MV GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) MV AIS (Air Insulated Switchgear) Location: Vídeňská 117, Brno Type of employment: permanent This role is contributing to the Product Marketing Team Manager You will be mainly accountable for: • Discussion of technical solutions and conditions according to customer requirements. • Processing of technical and commercial offers according to the customer's tender requirements using product configurators. • Clarification of offers to the necessary level for the order. • Collaboration with R&D and other stakeholders in the factory for complex offers that satisfy the needs of demanding customers. • Participation in the creation of short-term and long-term development plans and business activities in cooperation with the Area Sales Manager. • Participation in the handover process ( kick-off meeting ) in the factory or abroad (business trip). • Technical support of ABB products when dealing with customers • Active feedback to product management to improve product configurators and overall offering quality.

Qualifications for the role
- Secondary/university education in electrical engineering (high-current electrical engineering is an advantage)

- Communicative knowledge of English (knowledge of another foreign language is an advantage)
- Knowledge of the Czech/Slovak language is an advantage
- Good communication skills, assertive behavior and team spirit
- Experience in a similar position is a big advantage
