What role you will play in our team

Warehouse operator will be responsible for warehouse operations at the plant located in Isambe, Khalapur. Responsible to oversee, manage and lead a group of contract workers / forklift operators in loading operations in accordance with established work procedures to meet the dispatch plan, at the same time meeting all OIMS requirements. Responsible to ensure safe working environment. Lead contractor's team to maintain good housekeeping in warehouse (plant) facilities to ensure a safe working environment.
Job location- EM LOBP - Isambe village, Khalapur, Maharashtra (India)

What you will do

• Systems Ensure cycle count to be done on daily basis.
  
• Responsible to oversee, manage and lead a group of contract workers / forklift operators in loading operations in accordance with established work procedures to meet the dispatch plan, at the same time meeting all OIMS requirements.
  
• Ensure that group of contract workers / operators adhere strictly to correct PPE requirements per OIMS standards.
  
• Safety tool box talk to be conducted with forklift operators & casuals.
  
• Ensure FIFO system to be followed during issue of the materials.
  
• Ensure space availability at shop floor by evacuation of Finished Goods co-ordinate with Logistic team for vehicle placement .
  
• Ensure Zero detention at plant.
  
• Responsible to ensure timely posting of inventory movement in STRIPES & relevant system.
  
• Coordinate with LSP (Logistics Service Provider) Transporter and share the vehicle requirement / schedule for 0-3 days (rolling plan).
  
• Maintenance of decanted items details in register
  
• Physical stock take activity, reconciliation & closure of the stock accounting statement on every month
  
• End Preparation of Work instruction for stores & warehouse
  
• Responsible to ensure proper handling and timely posting of leakage & damage inventory generated in warehouse operations, is moved to Hold and DM01 location in STRIPES system and physical designated area within warehouse.
  
• Responsible to ensure periodic review of Hold & DM01 inventory and to work on corrective action with the blend & filling team to avoid any product loss / avoidable of write-off's.
  
• Ensure timely write-off unsalable inventory to ensure good housekeeping damage/leakage area in the warehouse.
  
• Generated inventory ageing report for plant warehouse and share with supply planner for timely action on slow moving / dead stock.
  
• Scrap disposal plan for online packing materials & rejected packing materials.
  
• Issue of Packing Materials, Packed Additives against requisition slip & keep track of the same
  

What you will do-Continued

• Support and coordinate with Inventory coordinator for variance / oil loss investigation.
  
• Coordinate roll out into LOBP of Global best practices in Packaging and Warehousing.
  
• Ensure all activities conform to the expectations set forth in the BPIMS Framework.
  
• Responsible to ensure the contract worker / picker adhere to established Standard Operating Procedure / Process as to ensure picking of right product from warehouse / racks and transferring the material to staging area for preloading preparation / checks.
  
• Maintain racking system register to know the stock in hand status Keeping track of online rejection of packing materials.
  
• Responsible to prepare dispatch plan (0-3 days rolling plan), call off vehicle requirement and ensure timely and flawless execution of outbound movement / dispatch from plant warehouse for:
  
  • Deployment plan shared by Supply Deployment Planner.
    
  • Customer delivery based on the plan shared by Logistics Coordinator.
    
  • Ensure proper unloading & accounting of Raw Materials, Packing Materials & Depot return materials
    
  • Ensure proper receipt of materials from Shop floor to warehouse & their reconciliation
    
  • Ensure accuracy in loading of materials & preparation of documentation in case of dispatches of Materials Prepare daily, Weekly & Monthly report for Stores & Warehouse .
    
  • Proper accounting of Packed Additives, Packing Materials at Stores & warehouse.
    

What you will do-Continued

• Responsible to ensure preparation of complete set of out-ward movement documents from dispatch team including:
  
  • Cross-check with dispatch documents / system generated loading instruction / delivery ticket prior to posting Good Issues in STRIPES.
    
  • All reported vehicles should be unloaded on same day Conduct Tool Box Tlk (TBT) on regular basis.
    
  • Conduct Physical General Inspection (PGI) for department on daily basis Report Near miss/ deviation.
    
  • Co-ordinate with respective department & correct it
    
  • Co-ordinate for availability of pallets at plant Coordinate with scrap vendor & arrange vehicle for scrap disposal .
    
  • Closure of departmental plant safety observation point
    
  • Coordinate and alignment of space for PM unloading.
    
  • Ensure 5s at department & optimum utilization of racking system.
    
  • Ensure Finished Goods Shift-Wise reconciliation on daily basis.
    
  • Responsible to ensure generating mandatory documents and handed over complete set to dispatch team / driver for releasing the truck (GST E-invoice, E-Way Bill, Lorry receipt, COA (where necessary) etc.)
    
  • Prepare/sign Gate Pass for permitting the vehicle outward movement.
    

About You

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum ITI/Diploma holder/graduate in any discipline.
  
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in plant warehouse or stand-alone warehouse.
  
• Hands-on experience working on SAP
  
• Familiar with operating forklift & AFT (Articulated Forklift).
  
• RTO license to operate forklift & AFT.
  
• Familiar with warehouse storage and dispatch process, handling and coordinating with transporters.
  
• Good understanding of dispatch document which are mandatory / required for compliance.
  
• Experience in managing contractors and labor.
  
• Experience in operating hand operated pallet trucks(HOPT) & battery operated pallet trucks(BOPT)
  

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

• Operate Forklift and AFT, battery operated pallet truck, hand operated pallet truck
  
• Hand-on experience on SAP (generating delivery and performing goods issues)
  
• Good with MS Excel.
