Industrial automation within Schneider Electric represents high growth potential for the future. In Finland, our ambition is to drastically grow our industrial automation market share across most channels, OEM, System Integrators, and end users specifically. We aim to be the market leader within software centric automation with Aveva and EcoStruxure Automation Expert offers.

We are now looking for a strong sales leader to drive our further growth within an exciting business area in Finland. As Sales Director for Industrial Automation, you will become a part of the Finnish Leadership team, and the Industrial Automation Nordic Management team.

The position is be based in Finland. The role is permanent and starts as soon as the right candidate has been found.

What we are looking for

You know the automation business and are interested in disrupting the market with modern technology. You are an expert in digitalization and software-based offers. You can make a difference with your proactive and challenging attitude with previous experience selling Industrial Automation to industrial end-users, system integrators and machine builders as well as leading a business towards growth. You are a strong people manager - our people build our business.

About you

To be successful in the role, we see that you have:
  • Suitable educational degree (i.e., technical, or commercial degree)
  • Previous experience in sales leadership or account management role within Industrial Automation
  • An ambitious, active and customer centric approach
  • Fluent verbal, written and communication skills in Finnish and English is a must

What you will do

As Sales director Industrial Automation Finland, you will be owning the P&L of the industrial automation business and have full accountability for the OEM and System Integrators channels. You will be joining and contributing to the country management team and drive the digital transformation.

Your most key area of responsibility will be to lead the sales team through coaching, facilitation, and follow-up, while ensuring turnover and results for one of our most profitable businesses in Finland. The team you will lead works nationally with sales and consulting towards end customers, OEMs, and system integrators, within everything from small projects to complete process/industrial facilities, including a three-layer IoT platform with advanced monitoring and predictive analysis.
