Cost Engineer
Responsibilities:
The Cost Engineer is responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for projects and maintenance services, including building direct cost estimates and advising on activity allowances. Familiarity with SAP is preferred, and the role involves liaising with various disciplines to ensure commercial contractual awareness. The Cost Engineer will also review bids and quotations, develop "Star Rates" for new norms, and train personnel in cost estimating roles.
Requirements:
Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng.) with certification in Primavera P6 or SAP.
Minimum 10 years in cost estimating and control within construction and oil & gas, preferably with contractor experience.
