Your role and responsibilities

You will be working as a product manager for low voltage drives in global product manager organization. In this role, you will be reporting to the global portfolio manager and hosted by local unit product management manager, supporting the product portfolio development of ACS880 low voltage drives, implementing the system drives strategy, and providing a superior customer experience for customers, partners and ABB sales teams. In this position you will play a key role within the low voltage product management team. Each day, you will showcase your expertise in performing various activities to manage the development, launch, maintenance, and profitability of the products and software. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion business, System Drives division in Helsinki, Finland. You will be mainly accountable for: • Monitoring the portfolio situation and analyzing the market, products and competitor activities • Developing the portfolio for identified growth areas according to positioning, competition and product gaps • Actively and systematically supporting the implementation of the long- and short-term roadmaps of the low voltage drives product portfolio • Collaborating with internal teams (i.e. sales support, r&d, manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain and logistics) to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and profitability, while identifying opportunities for optimization You will join a talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

• Several years' experience of drives or drive related industries, for example in R&D, is essential
• Ability to demonstrate your strong commercial acumen and understanding of value proposition development
• You have collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to demonstrate your high sense of responsibility and commitment
• Established understanding of customer engagement and service business
• You are at ease in communicating in English, both written and spoken. Finnish is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent area of studies is essential
