Job Purpose

  • Manage planning, design, execution, reporting and evaluation of all rigless interventions, ensuring that all operations are carried out in accordance with Dragon Oil policies, procedures and operating guidelines, statutory requirements and industry best practices with particular attention to Health, Safety and the Environment.
  • Supervise Coiled Tubing Unit and other rigless activities like pumping, injectivity tests, wireline perforation and wireline logging operations.


Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor coiled tubing performance record, minimizing NPT and maximizing utilization.
  • Help to improve slickline and wellhead maintenance work model from planning to executing and evaluating.
  • Manage all surveillance activities for wireline and all rigless perforation jobs.
  • Supervise any rigless intervention activities.
  • Coordinate all activities between contractor and end use for wireline, slickline and perforating.
  • Act on behalf of Well Services Superintendent as required. Control: Monitor performance and compliance and addressing problems as they arise.
  • Compile and summarize well servicing operations, and report any operational failures or problems to Well Services Superintendent for further action.
  • Enhance the implementation, enforcement, development and updating of Well Services safety and operating procedures.
  • Monitor working practices and processes to ensure KPIs, goals and objectives are met.
  • Monitor workplace HSE performance against company performance standards and KPIs and recommend measures to address performance issues.
  • Review workplace health and safety nonconformance and implement measures to address health and safety performance issues.
  • Ensure worksite safety rules and practices are followed and assist team members in promoting safety at the worksite.
  • Advise on new technologies to improve oil production and enhance equipment utilization.
  • Maintain a high level Coiled Tubing Performance record, minimizing NPT and maximizing utilization
  • Apply creative cost control measures and monitor expenditure of well intervention budget to ensure that it is not overspent or underspent dramatically.


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical or petroleum.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in well services/well intervention operations, and pumping with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
