This position reports to

Production Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization's assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Business, for Distribution Solutions Business Line, in Dalmine. You will be mainly accountable for: • Manufacturing Project- Leading and coordinating the functional manufacturing team in order to ensure the mass production release of new products in line with quality and cost targets. Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally • Working phases - Defining the working phase sequence of a new production process in order to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget; ensure appropriate production methods, cycle-time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. • Improvement projects - Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implementing improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality and cost requirements. • Production support - Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up and defining action plans. Guarantee continuous support during mass production. • Process technologies - Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, coordinating the necessary activities.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Management or Energy Engineering
• You are at ease communicating in English and Italian, both written and spoken
• Possess an advanced knowledge of Excel
• You have a basic knowledge of SAP and SolidWorks
• You have good communication and interpersonal skills
