The Thermal Management department (RD/VET) has the task of optimally managing heat flows in order to reduce fuel consumption and increase interior comfort
The team "Testing TAG, Therm. Protection E/E & OF-Comfort" (TAG=Thermal Protection of the Entire Vehicle) equips test vehicles with the necessary measurement technology for thermal measurements and in some cases also carries out thermal measurements on vehicles itself
These are some of the challenges you will face:

• Assembling, installing and configuring measurement setups for test vehicles
• Preparing and carrying out module and measurement technology replacements on the vehicle
• Preparing measurement technology for testing and documentation for customs
• Managing the measurement equipment using the TeMa database, i.e. - Sorting components according to use, storing them and checking their calibration date
• Adding RFID tags to new components of the measuring equipment and entering them in the database
• Researching the return dates of measuring equipment
• Supporting the engineers on the vehicle
• Coordination meetings with other departments regarding the use of measuring equipment
• Checking/calibrating infrared temperature sensors
• Management of Vector dongle licenses
• Preparing equipment for shipping and creating shipping instructions

Qualifikationen

• Degree in engineering, physics or a comparable course of study
• Confident handling of MS-Office
• Confident written and spoken German and English skills
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
• Commitment and motivation
• Communication skills and interest in measurement technology
