Project Planning & Controls Manager

Your role and responsibilities

• Creation of Schedules During Tender Phase: Develop and review schedules during the tender phase, ensuring alignment with project requirements. • Reviewing Sub-Contractors' Schedules: Evaluate and integrate sub-contractors' schedules into the master schedule. • Maintaining the Master Schedules: Oversee the master schedules during the initia-tion and execution phases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Resource and Cost Allocation: Allocate resources and costs to the master sched-ule, optimizing efficiency and budget adherence. • Lead Planning and Scheduling Efforts: Coordinate planning, scheduling, and cost control activities with the project manager and project controller. • Update Project Schedules: Regularly update project schedules on a monthly and weekly basis to reflect progress and changes. • Support Project Managers: Assist project managers with reporting and provide necessary data and insights. • Create What-If Scenarios: Develop and analyze what-if scenarios to anticipate po-tential project impacts and solutions. • Use Internal Reporting Tools: Utilize internal reporting tools to track and report project progress. • Reporting to Senior Management: Prepare and present reports to senior manage-ment, highlighting key metrics and project status. • Manage/Report on the Critical Path: Identify and manage the critical path, ensur-ing timely project completion.

Qualifications for the role

• Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6/MS Project) - minimum 3 years' experience or proven Project management experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
