We pioneered the Organic SolidFlow battery

CMBlu started in 2011 as a research-driven project with the goal of storing electrical energy in arbitrarily large quantities in an environmentally friendly, sustainable and cost-effective way. Since then, we have continuously expanded our broad IP portfolio and expertise in large-scale energy storage.

Today, we are one of the leading organic flow battery companies headquartered in Alzenau, 30 km from Frankfurt Airport. With our groundbreaking technology, we will drive the energy transition, together with our partners, customers and most importantly: with our employees!

We are a highly motivated, committed and fast growing team of over 180 employees. We are now preparing for the market launch of our products and further professionalizing our organization.

Your Tasks

• Strategic planning and development of product strategies and roadmaps for our Organic-SolidFlow batteries in accordance with the business plan and market requirements.
• Definition of product requirements and creation of product concepts.
• Analysis of customer and partner requirements as well as trends in the energy sector.
• Monitoring the operational performance of development teams and ensuring efficient and profitable project implementation.
• Budgeting and resource planning as well as time and milestone management.
• Performance monitoring and regular reporting to the executive board.
• Close collaboration and coordination with the R&D, testing, procurement, production, and sales departments.

Your Profile

• Successful university degree (preferably in engineering).
• At least 7 years of professional experience in a responsible position in product management, ideally in the energy industry or plant engineering.
• Proven success in business development, product management, and/or project management.
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams with multiple interfaces and successfully implementing product strategies.
• Deep understanding of the energy sector or battery development is desirable.
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
