Job Purpose

  • Manage a construction team of welders, fabricators, slingers, and painters. Organize and monitor the safe execution of work by his own team at the construction site. Take assignments and instructions from senior management and inform department management about the progress of work.


Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the construction, installation and repair work at offshore facilities
  • Determine the boundaries of hazardous factor impact zones before the start of construction work and organize fencing of this territory by means of barriers and information signs.
  • Organize the correct storage and use of cylinders at the work site with oxygen, propane, argon and other gases used in construction work.
  • Organize the correct storage and safe storage of materials used in construction at the work site.
  • Organize activities for inspection and leaving the construction site in a safe condition after the end of the shift or completion of work.
  • After receiving the task, analyze the volume of upcoming work and request the required amount of construction materials and control their use.
  • Coordinate the activities of your team with your line manager during work and submit daily reports upon completion of work.
  • Conduct a visual inspection of equipment, inventory, tools, as well as collective and personal protective equipment of your team members before starting work to identify discrepancies and damage.
  • Conduct toolbox talk for subordinates before starting work.
  • Sign the Work Permit for Construction Work when required by state regulations or company procedures.
  • Participate in inductions, fire safety and emergency drills;
  • Timely, but at least once a year, undergo a knowledge assessment on labor safety, basic fire safety and electrical safety.
  • Undergo periodical medical examinations within the timeframes established by the employer.


Education

Qualification Requirements:
  • Secondary professional or basic professional education in the field of construction.
  • At least 5 years of experience in installation and assembly of pipelines and structures.
  • Diploma/certificate of a fabricator or welder.
  • A level of English lower beginner.
