Our Business very much depends on our people; all our major achievements are team efforts.We are currently looking for Specialist - Data Architect for the Data Management team, the role will be based at our London, Chiswick office, Hybrid working.

About New BuildThe New Build segment is responsible for delivering major energy projects for the oil & gas and renewable markets. The segment includes all phases of a project, and specializes on delivering complete solutions that include engineering, procurement, construction and installation.

What will you be doing?

Job purpose



Participate in the design, development, and ensure the efficient deployment of a standard, common data platform enabling Business Intelligence (BI), Analytics, and Low-Code solutions spanning several industrial segments.



The role involves working closely with the UK and Norway Information Management teams, Engineering disciplines, and the Digitalization team.

Responsibilities



Support in developing and implementing solutions for data storage, transformation, sharing, and control to support segment-wide global and holistic functional BI self-service enablement. Co-create and enforce standards and architecture for all data needs for BI within the segment. Establish data quality scripts (SQL or GraphQL) and application consistency reports in support of multiple projects. Streamline reporting for Data Quality Management (DQM) issues and produce KPI/status reports related to data quality status. Continuously improve/develop current data quality rules according to internal Project Execution Model (PEM) and Client's Life Cycle Information (LCI) requirements. Identify opportunities and lead the development and implementation of automation, reporting, and productivity improvement initiatives. Assist in production support by resolving data issues and refining transformation rules as necessary. Maintain knowledge of emerging architectural methods and technologies for application to the environment.

We think you should have:

Bachelor's Degree in a science, engineering or an analytical non-technical degree. 3-5 years of relevant experience in developing, deploying, and/or operating ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and/or Data Warehouse (DWH) solutions, enabling business intelligence and low-code solution development. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with IT systems and application interfaces, particularly in Azure/SQL environments. Experience with Oracle/SQL, GraphQL, and PowerBI.
