Mission :

The role of the Segment Marketing Manager is to be the marketing lead: researching, developing, and executing go-to-market strategies for the assigned segment and sub-segments.

The key focus of this role is capitalising on growth opportunities for the zone. The role requires analysis and understanding of market conditions, value proposition development and the ability to create marketing communication plans to raise awareness, create demand and generate leads within the target segment(s). A focus on sustainability and digital transformation offers from SE and its associated software brands will be required for this role.

Key responsibilities:
  • Define and deliver the GTM segment marketing strategy and campaigns within the assigned segment.
  • Develop segment value prop and messaging, translating research and segment needs into business insights, with in-depth understanding of customers, competitors, solutions, and industries.
  • Coordinate and drive the overall segment messaging and market requirements. Provide strategic direction to creative development, partner with marketing communications to deliver customer-facing programmes and sales enablement.
  • Manage reporting and analytics on all programmes to measure success and return on investment.
  • Work closely with sales teams, ensuring buy-in and ownership for business development and customer acquisition within the assigned segment.
  • Collaborate with sales to understand ongoing enablement needs and develop sales enablement assets to support the selling process.
  • Drive segment thought leadership, including the development of thought leadership for sales leaders and participation in workgroups and round table relevant to the assigned segment and sub-segments.
  • Lead marketing communication plans and events for the assigned segment and sub-segments.
  • Coordinate with global segment marketing and commercial leaders to identify portfolio gaps and influence the segment offer roadmap.

Skills & Experience
  • Marketing degree or work-related experience.
  • Proven experience working in B2B marketing environment.
  • Strong communication skills to converse with customers, managers, and partners.
  • Strong analytical skills to derive business insights from a wide range of data and information available.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to support marketing and sales teams.
  • Dynamic, motivated individual - the ability to self-start and lead is essential.
  • Engaging and collaborative approach to delivering individual and overall business objectives.
  • Ability to engage at all levels of the business in a matrix organisation and both internally and externally.
