Based in Cluj Napoca, this role will assist customers by identifying the best solution for their application, independently creating quotations for customers ensuring requests are handled at a high quality, accurately and on time. You will collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to deliver excellent customer experience throughout all European locations.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Analyze customers requests for quote for education proposals, raise and resolve any queries directly with the final customers or the Front Sales Offices.
  • Prepare quotations for Education services within the set target.
  • Prepare the bill of materials and services in the estimation tool.
  • Responsible for the generation of a proposal document (technical and commercial) based on a specific proposal template.
  • Take ownership for customer orders received against quotations and verify them for accuracy.
  • Enter orders into order processing systems ensuring all data is checked and accurate, and for invoicing customers once orders are complete.
  • Liaise with Sales team to advise about the status or possible challenges regarding received quotes and orders.
  • Maintain all databases accurate and updated
  • Ensure Compliance to Emerson Ethics Policy and to all Corporate / Legal requirements.
  • Operate in alignment with Center of Excellence Standards regarding data management and tool usage and each country internal regulations.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • 1-3 yrs. Experience in customer support, sales support, technical sales background
  • English language upper intermediate (written and spoken)
  • German language upper intermediate(written and spoken)
  • Computer Literate (MS Office) / Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and very well organized / Working experience within remote teams beneficial.


Preferred Qualifications that set you apart:

Having previous experience in an engineering or technical sales environment will be considered a plus.
Basic knowledge of Industry Processes or Process Control and Instrumentation is an advantage, as well as knowledge and/or experience in using ERP/MRP.
