Your tasks

  • To seek out and develop new customers, projects and contracts within the Water & Gas industry.
  • Implement segment strategies, perform strategic activities & support and guide the local sales team
  • Promote prompt and accurate solutions to customer enquiries.
  • Gain user acceptance with the GF Utilities product range
  • Achieve yearly UT Segment sales growth targets and monitor business development activities
  • Willingness to be trained to the required level of Segment Mastery
  • Develop Fabrication offering in line with GIS / BSI.
  • Highlight product gaps and future development opportunities within the Water & Gas sector

Your profile

  • Significant experience in the Utilities Water & Gas industry (perfect mix would be sales and project engineering)
  • Business development experience advantageous
  • Strong relationship management
  • Ability to provide market insight, assess and make business decisions for growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Customer focus
  • Computer Literate - effective user of MS Office applications.
  • Experience in Tender submissions. Good standard of education with a working knowledge of engineering and technical terms, product types and tolerances.
  • Full understanding of the Company objectives.
  • Knowledge of competitors, their weaknesses and strengths
  • Commercial awareness
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK
