Your role and responsibilities
This is role will support the Electrification Business Communications Leader (Installation Products lead division and communications activities for ABB Electrification business communications in country as well as Division communications. The role is a highly collaborative role as it works with various functions and communications teams to help ensure proactive and effective communications across multiple channels and stakeholders. • Works directly with the Electrification Business Communications Leader (ELIP Division for Canada) in support of the communications plan in country for Electrification, including the editorial calendar. • Supports communications efforts for cross divisional (2 or more) projects and initiatives such as events, trade shows and conferences or other cross-divisional initiatives. • Partners to help executive messaging locally for trade media, digital communications and thought leadership. Collaborates with Country Communications and Division peers to help tell the ABB story. • Strong writer/editor that adheres to ABB brand standards. • Assist with localization of initiatives or campaigns. • Support Electrification business for employee communications, point of contact for factories. • Actively participate in the community of EL Communicators in country. • Support communications locally for the lead division in country - ABB Installation Products in Canada.

Qualifications for the role
- Degree in communications or related field and minimum 4 years of experience in the field of Communications in a B2B and B2C environment (ideally technical/industrial environment).
- Proven experience in supporting communication across all channels.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills. Effective storyteller.
- Bilingual in English and French Canadian. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with on-time delivery.
- Work on measurement KPIs and reporting to help track performance and learnings.
- Team player who thrives by contributing to the success of the team and the business.
- Ability to travel and work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours as needed.
