Risk & Contract Management (Specialist)

Vestas Latin America has been recently established as a stand-alone business unit with the aim of seizing the regions' full potential inherent in expansion of sustainable energy solutions and services. In our department we are responsible amongst others to support the region in the effective execution of onshore CPX. Support the business in contract and risk management to improve company results.

Responsibilities

• Overall Contract Management of LAT Projects
• Contribute to Vestas LAT claim management and claim performance
• Contribute to lessons learnt exercise for the portfolio of projects and liaise with various stakeholders to ensure monitoring and implementation
• Support in conducting trainings to all LAT region PMs, SMs, PEs and other stakeholders as needed; conduct region specific trainings as and when required
• Co-ordinate within the company procedural improvements in regards to Risk and Contract Management to reduce up-stream/down-stream contract misalignments (TCI/TSA).
• Develop/Improve Construction team contract awareness (TCI + TSA)
• Support Risk Assessment
• TCI back to back: Support procurement, bid and projects teams to ensure that the contractual conditions of TCI contracts are aligned 'back to back' with those established in the main contract, fostering an integrated and efficient management of the contracts involved in the projec

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Law or Engineering
• Fluent English and Spanish
• Previous experience in infrastructure contracts
• Negotiation of complex contracts, claims and risk management, contract expert
