In Data & AI, we provide valued data products supported by data infrastructure and data governance practices; and ensure the end-to-end flow of data to collaborate throughout the value stream. Within the Data Platforms area, our vision is to empower Vestas to unlock the full potential of data by improving the platform proactively to support and enable data usage across Vestas.

Responsibilities
You will be part of the Data Analysis & Modelling Chapter within the Data Platform area, responsible for building capabilities and competencies around data analysis, master data management and data quality, data modeling, focusing more on the business side of data management, aligning data practices with organizational goals and deriving value from data.
Qualifications
You will possess business skills, business and data analysis skills, an understanding of business data and processes, and good knowledge of the industry and the domain which ensures them to communicate, are experienced in data modeling and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, and be able to translate business requirements into data solutions, and to present data findings and recommendations effectively.

Responsibilities
You will be part of the Data Analysis & Modelling Chapter within the Data Platform area, responsible for building capabilities and competencies around data analysis, master data management and data quality, data modeling, focusing more on the business side of data management, aligning data practices with organizational goals and deriving value from data.
- You will be working closely with the business stakeholders to assist in defining the business needs for MDM and ensure that the implemented solutions meet these needs
- Build domain-focused knowledge on data objects, business rules, lineage, relationships, business processes, requirements and issues related to master data
- Partner with Data Governance to develop and implement standards/frameworks for handling data across its lifecycle, to ensure consistency in how information is stored, organized, and accessed
- Work with the data architects and data engineers to translate the business requirements into technical information that will support in development of technical solutions including data modeling
- Work with technical and business stakeholders to ensure data quality & data integrity is maintained and enhanced across disparate data sources
- Continuously evaluate data systems, processes, and tools to identify opportunities for enhancement, automation, and optimizations of our data management practices
Qualifications
You will possess business skills, business and data analysis skills, an understanding of business data and processes, and good knowledge of the industry and the domain which ensures them to communicate, are experienced in data modeling and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, and be able to translate business requirements into data solutions, and to present data findings and recommendations effectively.
- 6+ years of experience in Data Management & Data Governance combined with a relevant education in IT, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or similar, which gives you an efficient, fact-based approach to your tasks
- Solid experience in MDM, Data Quality & Data Modelling discipline
- Experience in SAP Master data objects preferably on Material Master Data
- Experience with a data management solution e.g. Informatica MDM, data catalog, data quality dashboards
- Good grasp of the core data areas in the DAMA-DMBOK and updated on the latest trends in Data
- Experience with data models and the use of data within various business processes and systems
- Good knowledge of data architecture and data infrastructure
- Good SAP ERP knowledge and preferably knowledge in Informatica

- Comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address data-related issues proactively
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
