Your role and responsibilities

Are you a creative and analytical marketer with a passion for producing compelling content that drives engagement and conversions? We are seeking a talented Marketing Content Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and executing our content marketing strategy, developing high-quality written and visual content, and optimizing it for search and user experience. If you are a strong communicator with a keen eye for detail and a track record of producing results-driven content, we'd love to hear from you. This position reports to: Marketing Manager - Segment and Digital Marketing Your roles and responsibilities: • Develop and execute content marketing plans and strategies for segment-based marketing campaigns and events. • Create engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels, including websites, newsletters, blogs, podcasts, success stories, social media, and email campaigns. • Publish content to relevant channels and repurpose product marketing and brand content where applicable. • Build and nurture relationships with influencers, partners, and industry experts to enhance content reach and impact. • Identify and collaborate with external vendors, such as graphic designers, videographers, or freelance writers, to create high-quality content. • Understand the needs of our target audiences, their preferences, the different tones and styles all while respecting ABB's tone of voice and branding standards. • Manage content calendars, deadlines, and production schedules. • Conduct keyword research and optimize content for search engines (SEO). • Analyze and report on content performance using metrics and adjust strategies as needed. • Lead the administration of the sales and marketing tools portal, encompassing platform, inventory, order, and user management. Enhance the accessibility of marketing materials for Sales & Marketing and elevate the customer experience. • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content marketing.

Qualifications for the role

  • You have completed a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • You have 3-5 years' experience with a proven track record in content marketing, excellent writing and editing skills.
  • You are proficient with content management systems and marketing tools.
  • Completion of relevant certifications in marketing automation platforms (e.g. Pardot) is a plus.
  • You have a strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
  • Customer-Centricity. Prioritizes needs, preferences, and feedback in every content decision and interaction.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making. Uses data, analytics, and voice of customer (VoC) to enhance content marketing strategies, personalize customer engagement
  • and elevate experience across all touchpoints.
  • Seamless Omnichannel Experience. Ensures consistent and cohesive messaging and experience across all customer touchpoints.
  • Commitment to Focus and Delivery. Demonstrates strong focus, passion, and reliability in meeting commitments.
  • Agile and Iterative Approach. Embraces flexibility and adapts to respond to market changes and customer feedback.
