Your role and responsibilities

Looking for a taste of working life in an international, future-focused corporate group? Then join us as an intern (m/f/d) and familiarise yourself with a suitable department for 3 to 6 months. You will be involved in large-scale projects and perform a defined set of duties independently. Use your internship to build a network and become familiar with our company. The following tasks and responsibilities will be part of your role: • assessment of industrial networking use-cases • analysis of vendor network automation APIs • design and implement automation concepts for selected use-cases on at least two different vendor APIs • device and set up a corresponding testbed for verification • verification of implementation on the designed testbed • analyze test results and conclude feasibility / gaps

Qualifications for the role

• Study in communication systems, computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in networking technologies, including Ethernet and IP
• Experience in software development, with skills in languages such as C# and Python
• Optional: knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Intent-Based Networking (IBN), and Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN)
• Strong English skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks autonomously
• Excellent team collaboration skills, with a focus on open communication
• Customer- and solution-oriented mindset, focused on delivering effective results
