We are looking for a passionate Project Engineer (Pipeline Installation) to join our Pipeline Group (PG) team at our Suresnes, Paris office on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will be part of a team of project installation engineers, dealing with different pipeline installation methods (S&J Lay, reel lay) for a package of work on either a project or tender. You will support the efficient day-to-day running of the engineering team and provide regular operational reports on general project engineering activities, technical subject matters, and resource management.

What will you be doing?

• Follow project scope from early engagement with our internal and external clients through to offshore execution on board our reel lay assets.
• Produce installation method statements and procedures, support procurement activities and subcontract follow up, proactively support HSEQ activities and prepare and deliver technical presentations.
• Installation rigging calculations and rigging design.
• Assist Tendering department with feasibility studies, method statements, manhour estimates, schedule inputs and costing support.
• Supporting installation aid procurement, fabrication and testing follow up.
• Follow your scope offshore on our installation vessels.

• You will be degree qualified in Engineering / Marine / Naval / Offshore Technology / Civil / Mechanical discipline (or equivalent)
• You will have relevant experience as a project engineer in the energy industry, ideally within subsea pipeline installation, particularly in the reel lay discipline (i.e., Reel Lay, J-Lay, S-Lay)
• You should be a clear communicator, able to speak with all levels within the business, who is comfortable working on their own and as part of a team
• You will have good report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work, as well as the ability prioritise and organise your work accordingly to meet deadlines set by management
• This role may involve short spells of overseas travel so candidates may need to show a willingness and flexibility
