We are seeking a seasoned Estimator for Water & Wastewater Concrete, Structural Steel, and Misc. Metals self-performance estimating. Our company is a leader in the Water and Wastewater industry in the state of Texas and are expected to expand into the SE US in the next few years. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a billion-dollar company that is hungry for growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial/ municipal construction, specifically concrete construction, and a proven track record in preconstruction. This role will primarily focus on large-scale projects such as Water treatment, Wastewater, and Advanced Water treatment facilities for hard bid, CMAR, and Design Build delivery. A successful candidate will have a knack for accurate estimation, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering top-quality projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs for select trades.
- Coordinate with project management teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and specifications.
- Review and evaluate cost estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in proposal preparation and client presentations.
- Provide technical support to project management and business development teams.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure they meet project specifications.
- Support and maintain a comprehensive database of cost and statistical data.
- Collaborate with engineers, clients, and subcontractors on project cost estimates.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in municipal concrete and structural steel construction.
- Participate in project meetings to provide input on planning and scheduling.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience as an estimator in the municipal/ industrial construction industry, specifically in concrete construction.
- Proven experience in preconstruction and working on large-scale projects such as water bearing structures and complex process related facilities.
- Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
- Proficiency in using industry-related software for cost estimation and take-off. Timberline, Blue Beam, and other related takeoff software.
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency. Especially excel.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field experience is preferred.
- A deep understanding of the construction industry and a drive to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements.
