We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Analyst to join our team in Cluj, Romania. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and managing end-to-end payroll activities for employees across multiple countries in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Payroll Processing:
  • Collect, validate, and input payroll data for employees in Middle East countries, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Calculate and process salary components, including base salary, overtime, allowances, and deductions according to regional policies and employee eligibility.
  • Prepare and process payroll for multiple locations in the Middle East, including but not limited to United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, and Kuwait.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies in each country.
  • Manage payroll-related files, such as employee master data, bank account details, and Wage Protection System (WPS) files.

Data Management and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in the payroll exchange platform.
  • Generate and review payroll reports, including gross-to-net calculations, payroll summaries, and reconciliation reports.
  • Support audit processes by preparing vital documentation and responding to audit queries.

Coordination and Support:
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other internal departments to ensure smooth payroll operations and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related inquiries, addressing issues related to pay, deductions, benefits, and allowances.
  • Work with external payroll providers to facilitate payroll processing and resolve any issues.
  • Provide manual pay slips and payroll-related support for locations without local payroll providers.
  • Calculate the final settlements for leavers and request off-payroll payments through the MPRF PowerApps
  • Process Africa payroll during the absence of the Payroll Specialist

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • 5 years of experience in managing international payroll, preferably including Middle East payroll.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing in a multinational environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis functions.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Good communication, teamwork and organizational skills;
  • Solid understanding of payroll software and systems; experience with ADP, Oracle, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Wage Protection System (WPS) processes and requirements.
  • Experience processing payroll for Middle East countries and knowledge of regional labor laws and tax regulations.
