We have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join us at Honeywell, part of Automation Intelligence (AI), in Amsterdam, where you will be responsible for carrying out work on the operating systems, ranging from maintenance to software upgrades and programs.

Key requirements:
- Supporting the LSS (Lifecycle Service & Support) business and stimulating growth and profitability of the Services business where customer satisfaction and safety are the essence
- Responsibility for the delivery of support services to customers according to our global standards and processes
- Understanding customer needs and solving problems through technical knowledge.
- Knowledge of customer location and contacts and utilizing the Honeywell network to provide customer excellent service and quality
- Focus on growth and development of both Honeywell and our customers
- Maintaining the customer's equipment to the required standard: performs regular preventive maintenance and intervenes immediately on maintenance needs- System Diagnosis: Diagnosing and escalating as necessary to resolve application software issues- Quality of delivery: Providing fast and adequate service, according to agreed schedule.- Application Support: Based on the need and planning by the company, specific application support is provided to selected customers- At the request of management, you participate in progress meetings with customers- 24/7 breakdown service according to schedule
Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor degree or Technical education (diploma) - electronic systems/industrial automation/ electrical.
- Geographic range and travel requirements The work takes place throughout the Netherlands, mainly on location at our customers, sometimes also at our location in Schiphol-Oost. Traveling abroad may occur occasionally.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in DCS, Honeywell Experion PKS is a plus.
- Knowledge of electronic systems (installation/configuration/implementation/troubleshooting) (Honeywell and Virtualization are a pre)
- Knowledge on VSPHERE and VMWARE environment and different levels of Network (PCN) L1.2, 3, 3.5 etc.
- Fluent in English, Dutch knowledge is a plus.
- Driver's License B
