Product Marketing Director

Your role and responsibilities

Reporting to Marketing Director, the Data Integrity Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and security of ABB ELIP product data across various systems, including ERP and channel partner's e-commerce platforms. This role will work closely with product management, marketing, sales, and distributors to support e-commerce strategies and ensure data quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong data management expertise, a deep understanding of SAP Torque, and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve data processes and efficiency. The Data Integrity Manager will oversee a Data Specialist and provide leadership in maintaining data integrity to support business operations and e-commerce efforts. Main Responsibilities: Data Operations • Manage and maintain product master data, ensuring accuracy of key information such as product dimensions, specifications, and attributes in ERP and e-commerce systems. • Oversee day-to-day data integrity processes, including data entry, validation, and updates to ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Standards and Processes • Develop, implement, and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to maintain the accuracy and security of product data across systems. • Ensure compliance with data management policies and maintain documentation of data processes and continuously review and improve data management workflows to increase efficiency and minimize errors. • Lead initiatives and establish KPIs to harmonize data structures and standardize data inputs across the organization and with external partners. Collaboration and Strategy • Work closely with distributors to support and improve e-commerce strategies through accurate and reliable product data. • Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to manage system integrations, resolve data-related issues, and implement enhancements to data systems. • Provide guidance and leadership to the Data Specialist, ensuring proper execution of daily tasks and alignment with overall data integrity goals. • Act as a liaison between business functions and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems and support e-commerce capabilities.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data management, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution industry and experience working with e-commerce platforms and supporting distributor integrations.
  • Strong communication, understanding of ERP systems (SAP Torque experience required) and relationship-building skills in French and English
  • Proven ability to implement and enforce data governance policies and improve data processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and leadership experience with direct reports, including training and mentoring team members.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management and an understanding of product data's impact on business operations.
