Responsibilities
- Electrical Supervision of Oil and Gas Facility design projects.
- Design, Review and oversee Electrical design of junior engineers and designers.
- Responsible for creation of one-line diagrams, Hazardous Area Classification drawings, Panel Schedules, cable schedules and grounding design.
- Creates or oversees the development of power systems models to include Arc Flash studies and Load Flow Studies.
- Work independently to complete tasks in the given timeframe and budget.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 years proven electrical engineering design experience in Oil & Gas.
- Heavy industrial projects (Oil and Gas, Mining, Power Generation, Water and Wastewater.)
- Experience in creation and reviewing electrical design, construction and commissioning documents.
- A BSEE degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
- PE License or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
- Working knowledge of design codes and standards, specifically NFPA, NEC, NESC, API, ISA and AGA.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects under budget and time constraints.
- Familiarity with electrical modeling software, specifically ETAP and SKM.
