Employment Terms: This job is a part-time, non-benefited, FLSA Exempt/Professional position in the Engineering Construction Manufacturing and Design Division that reports to the Program Director - Air Conditioning Technology.
Minimum Requirements (Job Code 10317) - Air Conditioning Technology AAT or AAS/AS. Plumbing/ pipefitting AAT/AAS, or related field. BS in Discipline. Two years of work experience beyond air conditioning education. Must hold Refrigerant Recovery Certification and minimum of Class I restricted State of Georgia License.
Preferred Qualifications -. K-12 or Postsecondary teaching experience. Two years of work experience beyond plumbing education in the plumbing industry.
Salary - Targeted salary is paid in a lump sum based on contact hours taught.
Job Description - Prepares and delivers lecture and/or lab course material. Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for general core courses. Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives. Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports. Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior. Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows through appropriately. Assists with recruitment retention and job placement efforts. If offered a position, employees in this department must complete the Hazardous Materials Training annually.
