Cordoba Corporation is a leading civil engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Project Manager to support our Gas sector. The preferred candidate will have extensive gas utility experience and be comfortable leading cross-functional teams and managing all aspects of a utility construction project. The Project Manager is responsible for target setting/management and timelines, maintaining strategic and analytical oversight across multiple simultaneous projects or project tracts, communicating with leadership as appropriate, developing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to the appropriate work planning and execution processes.

Pay Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
Work Location: Hybrid 3-4 days per week in the Los Angeles, CA office with occasional project site visits or meetings within the Los Angeles County area
Visa Sponsorship: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship
Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check

The Project Manager is responsible for target setting/management and timelines, maintaining strategic and analytical oversight across multiple simultaneous projects or project tracts, communicating with leadership as appropriate, developing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to the appropriate work planning and execution processes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor procurement, design, construction and other related activities and facilitate, coordinate and manage the program with respect to timely performance in accordance with project schedule and the requirements of the program.
- Provide oversight of planning, design, engineering, and execution of all project deliverables across multiple simultaneous work streams in support of Portfolio and Project Management programs.
- Coordinate work effort between all dependent departments, groups, teams and tasks.
- Manage design requests, drawing progress, environmental, jurisdictional, regulatory and other support tasks to ensure timely execution of activities through solution acceptance by stakeholders.
- Execute planning, status and ad-hoc meetings as required; supply meeting minutes and track and communicate risks and issues and execute mitigating steps as necessary.
- Develop uniform standards for all aspects of project delivery.
- Develop detailed budgets and tracking against Company financial systems, process & procedures, scope and change management required by the program.
- Manage monthly cash flows, vendor and internal spend, including internal labor.
- Update financial reporting and forecasts as prescribed by the Company and update near and long term forecast as necessary.
- Conducts operational effectiveness reviews.
- Monitor and coordinate the schedule, technical accuracy, efficiency, coordination, and constructability of the program and cost-effectiveness of all designs, drawings, reports, estimates and other work as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-5 years of demonstrated project management and gas pipeline utility experience required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or directly related utilities work experience required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other Program Management certification preferred
- Hydrotest and/or ILI (Inline Inspection) experience preferred
- Exemplary analytical cost management/cost control expertise including financial modeling and utilization of costing tools
- Intermediate proficiency using MS Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- Experience using SAP or Power BI highly preferred
- Ability to apply knowledge of specific engineering, technical and/or construction standards and methods, regulations, policies, processes and established practices for a given project
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations
- Proven aptitude and demonstrated experience for high volume, complex projects and program management
- Must display versatility, quick problem solving, handle multiple demands, and ability to work effectively with various personalities
- Must demonstrate strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage stress effectively
