Job Description
Performs nuclear medicine diagnostic and some therapeutic procedures to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, and related duties, under the direction of a Radiologist. Must have a good understanding of medical terminology, good communication and multitasking skills. Responsible for administration of radioactive isotopes. Applies principles of radiation protection. Exercises professional judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the utilization of radio nuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in humans. Must be able to work independently.
Work Schedule: On call 1 night/week and 1 weekend/month (based on the weeks/month there may be an additional weeknight of call or weekend) Potential for day shifts as needed to cover PTO.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine Program
- Registered as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association or BLS - American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
- Two years Nuclear Medicine experience
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the job
- Has ability to work independently
