Privately-held, independent E&P oil & gas company is searching for an experienced accountant to perform full cycle accounting with a general understanding of Financial Statements. This is an on-site role in Covington with tight-knit group. The right candidate is analytical, professional, and a good team player.

Duties:

• Various operations and financial reporting
• GL accounting entries
• Account Reconciliations
• Depreciation and Amortization schedules
• Month end closing processes
• Assist with monthly Financial Packet preparation

Experience required:

• 5+ years of accounting experience in the oil & gas service industry
• GAAP
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Products
